Putrajaya begins with enthusiasm and then corrects itself.

In the early years, its vehicles carried special "Putrajaya" plates written out in full. The idea was distinctive; the capacity was not. As the numbers approached their limit, the system shifted to F as the federal code, and the city moved onto conventional FA, FB, FC-style prefixes with proper room to grow.

F is therefore young but very deliberate: a designed solution replacing a short-lived experiment. It reads clearly, scales cleanly, and sits apart from the older state letters without feeling gimmicky.
