Series Overview
GM stands for Gemilang Malaysia (Glorious Malaysia), the special series JPJ released for Malaysia Day 2025. It was announced on 15 September, and bidding ran on JPJeBid from Malaysia Day, 16 September, until 10pm on 20 September, with results on 21 September.
Minimum bids followed the standard five tiers: RM20,000 for golden numbers, RM5,000 for premium, RM2,500 for attractive, RM500 for popular and RM300 for running numbers. As an extra, every successful bidder received two tickets to the Super GT Malaysia Festival at Sepang in June 2026.
GM 1 went for RM1,300,777, behind only FFF 1 and GOLD 1 among JPJ auction results at that point. Numbers left after the auction were sold on JPJ's MySIKAP portal from 1 December 2025 at RM310 to RM510, service fee included. A year later, JPJ used Malaysia Day again for its final single-letter series, H.
