Series Overview
GTR is one of the clearest enthusiast-facing Malaysian special plates.
It was issued by Pertubuhan Suara Wanita Malaysia, with The Plates Enterprise acting as the exclusive agent, and the public tender range was GTR 1 to GTR 1000.
Bidding was reported as open from 15 March 2018, closing on 31 March, with tender results due on 6 April.
The prefix did not need much explanation to car people. GTR immediately evokes high-performance machinery, especially the Nissan Skyline GT-R and Nissan GT-R bloodline.
