MADANI

Series Overview

MADANI is the official JPJ special series tied to the Malaysia Madani national agenda.

It belongs to a very specific moment: the series was launched in October 2024 at the Likas Sports Complex in Kota Kinabalu, with bidding on JPJeBid from 19 to 23 October 2024.

The run covered MADANI 1 to MADANI 9999, giving it the familiar full modern special-series shape.

MADANI also shows how government-linked plate launches had matured by the mid-2020s. The dates, range, bid categories and results were all public, and the sale sat inside JPJ's official online bidding environment rather than an older appointed-channel model.

The result was solid rather than record-breaking.

JPJ reported RM2,623,329 in total revenue, 5,632 bidders and 3,263 successful numbers.

MADANI 6 led the series at RM68,888, followed by MADANI 5 at RM58,001 and MADANI 4 at RM55,000; MADANI 3 and MADANI 33 also crossed RM40,000.

The prefix itself carries most of the meaning. It is not a neutral set of letters, but a full-word civic slogan associated with a particular period of national policy language.

For some owners, that gives the plate national-branding appeal. For others, it makes the plate a timestamp from the Malaysia Madani public vocabulary.

The strongest MADANI numbers are likely to be low digits, lucky patterns, date-linked numbers and combinations that sit cleanly beside the long prefix. Ordinary numbers still benefit from the word's road presence, but the series is most interesting when the number adds a second layer of meaning.
