Series Overview

QSG is the registration used by Sarawak Government vehicles in the Q-front system adopted in 1991. The letters arrived in Sibu's ordinary QS sequence, straight after QSF, and were taken for state government use, where they read as Q for Sarawak and SG for Sarawak Government. The Chinese-language Wikipedia records QSG 1 to QSG 18 as the official cars of the state cabinet, ministers and assistant ministers.

Before 1991, Sarawak Government vehicles used SG with the Sarawak Q suffix, such as SG 2007 BQ.
