Series Overview
TIARA is the model series for the Proton Tiara, launched on 5 April 1996. Unlike the Mitsubishi-based Protons of the time, the Tiara was a small five-door hatchback based on the Citroen AX, built during Proton's short-lived partnership with Citroen.
Wikipedia describes the plates as issued for Proton Tiara cars, and both JPJ's specification for special registration numbers and the Chinese-language list of special plates set the name, written Tiara, in a script typeface. The allocation size was not published.
