Series Overview

XI ASEAN was issued for the 11th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, held in Kuala Lumpur from 12 to 14 December 2005, which also included the first East Asia Summit. XI is the Roman numeral for eleven.

Cars carrying the plates ferried delegates during the summit and were afterwards sold to individual buyers with their plates. Some delegates were driven in the new Proton Chancellor, which had its own plate series. The exact allocation was not published.
